The Center for Leadership and Civic Engagement (CLCE) develops students into leaders that will make a positive difference in the world. These programs help each student discover their passion and talents, while developing their skills and understanding of leadership and active citizenship.

Lunchtime Leadership SeriesLunchtime Leadership Series

Every Thursday during the first half of the semester, join us for free lunch while hearing from a variety of speakers on different topics within leadership development. The series takes place every Thursday from 12:30pm to 1:30pm in MSC 1306. See the entire schedule by clicking on the image above.

RISEGirl Rising - RISE to her Level Event

This event provides an opportunity to see and experience the lives of girls around the world. Specifically, the event will speak to the power of education to change the world. Participants should arrive at 4pm. A short walk around campus will begin at 4:15pm and include several stops that depict different circumstances of girls around the world. Snacks will be provided from 5:15-5:45pm. At 6pm, a showing of Girl Rising will begin in the MSC Oval Theater. Volunteer Fair:  Showcase of ServiceVolunteer Fair: Feb. 17th, 10am-2pm

This volunteer fair will provide an opportunity for you to learn about and engage with local nonprofits, student organizations, and faculty members who all provide opportunities to serve in the community. Stop by at any point during the event to pick-up some information and learn more about getting involved in the community today. Light snacks and meaningful conversation will be provided. CSLBecome a Certified Student Leader Today

Enroll today to join the next cohort of students entering the Certified Student Leader Program. Orientation take place at the beginning of each semester. This program combines leadership education with real-life experiences to help you develop your skills and your ability to articulate your leadership philosophy. Although you can finish in as little as one semester, it is a self-paced program allowing as much as three semesters to finish. Learn more by click the image to the right.
